Mount of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELCA). The vision for mission expresses the fact that we are a welcome place where the generosity and hospitality of Jesus Christ is our way of life. We emphasize the great biblical promise that God loves us unconditionally and has taken steps through Jesus to bring us into a living, vibrant relationship with God.
We celebrate Holy Communion (or the Lord’s Supper) weekly as part of our worship. All are welcome at this altar. We believe communion should be open to all—just as Christ’s arms are open for us.
Mt. of the Holy Cross is a growing and active church family started in 1967. As a people of faith, we are building on the strengths of the past and are extremely excited about where our future will take us, including our participation in the creation of the Edwards Interfaith. We strongly believe God’s love and service go hand in hand. Whatever it might be, we invite you to become involved in our dynamic journey to do god work! How can we serve you? For more information please visit our website at www.mountholy.com.
Mt. of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church offers a weekly bible study each Tuesday evening at 5:30pm in the upstairs library. Worship is every Sunday evening at 5:30pm at the Edwards Interfaith Chapel and includes Sunday School during the fall, winter and spring. We also offer Sunday services at 9:30 at the Vail Interfaith Chapel and at the Beaver Creek Chapel at 11:30.
